Choose your desired Diamond Painting Kit. Each kit includes a pre-printed canvas, small diamonds (also referred to as drills or gems), a diamond applicator tool, a tray, and wax or gel. Begin by finding a clean, flat surface to work on. Unroll the canvas and lay it flat, smoothing out any wrinkles. If necessary, place heavy books on the corners to keep it flat and stable.
Familiarize yourself with the canvas and tools provided. Each square on the canvas is coded to match a diamond color, indicated by a color and symbol guide typically found on the canvas’s edge. Prepare your applicator tool by filling it with wax or gel; this helps in picking up the diamonds effectively.
Begin by peeling back the protective film over the area you want to start with. Pour the required color diamonds into the tray. Using the wax-filled applicator tool, pick up a diamond by its faceted side and place it on the matching symbol on the canvas. Focus on one small section at a time, repeating this process until the section is complete.
Once all sections are completed, use a kitchen rolling pin to gently press down the diamonds, ensuring they are firmly attached. For additional security and to enhance durability, apply a craft sealant, available online or at craft stores, over the entire canvas. Now, your diamond painting is ready to be displayed proudly.

I got this diamond painting of my favorite show, The Owl House! I really love how it came out, and I love the detail and accurate colors. It’s a good idea to get a bigger diamond painting if you want a lot of detail like mine, otherwise some things may be left out. I think of it like a pixelated picture, where the more pixels there are the clearer it will look. Great purchase!

This is going to be the most amazing project. I ordered this as a Christmas present for my best friend because she loves diamond painting and I thought one of her grandsons would be perfect. I wanted to make sure it was nice and big so that the details would be nice, and I read the instructions that said to make sure to order it as big as possible. However, me and numbers don’t get along, and I discovered that 80cmx120cm is pretty much life size for the two two year olds in the painting. I’ll take pictures when I see her, because this needs to be seen to be believed. I cannot wait to do this project with her. Her first words was she was intimidated by it, haha.

I am not usually a review writer but I had to give artdiystudio its credit! I have done about 60 paintings so far and have to say I was apprehensive to try a customized painting. I ordered from another brand a picture of my great grandson and when it was delivered it was horrible. Picture was of my dog. Had to do a little color rearrangement. My dog was black and white and on the shadowed side of the picture, the color arrangement was medium brown. Didn’t look right because my dog had no brown on him. Changed the shadowing colors to various grays I had saved from other Diamond paintings and it looked better. The symbols were very hard to read. They also put circles around the symbols and the edge of the circle shows behind the Diamond dot.

I know better than to try to order anything every specific/detailed like a picture of several people because it’s diamond art, it’s gonna be “pixelated” so fine details will be lost, so i don’t recommend trying to do a family photo or anything with a lot of small specific details no matter who you order from. I waited until I was almost finished to do a review to make sure they gave enough diamonds which was my biggest concern and they did provide plenty, also they made the sizing/positioning way easier and more intuitive than I expected when ordering. Shipping was super fast too. Very impressed.

Most of the paintings are for my coworkers for Christmas gifts so I don’t feel right uploading their personal pictures to show the final projects. However I did upload the one I’ve made for myself which was one of the first ones I’ve made. I have purchased diamond paintings from others and there just really isn’t any comparison. The diamonds, studs, or whatever the pieces are called never have issues sticking together like others I’ve done and the adhesive is of superior quality. I’m pleased with customer service as well. Throughout all these projects I did have to contact them a couple of times but each time they got back to me quickly and were very professional. This will be the only one I will buy my diamond paintings from. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences when buying from them and actually doing the paintings

I simply love artdiystudio, they have always sent great personal pictures. But sadly this time I wanted to do a portrait of my husband who has just passed away, I love him so much and I needed this for myself. I got the picture and it’s beautiful, sadly though the colors they sent for his portrait were not at all what the picture looked like. My husband doesn’t have purple or pink hair and his face was never red and purple around his chin, cheeks and face line. Im going to have to buy my own rhinestones to do this picture of my late husband. So sad and disappointed
